TWIST: Hey guys! Let's first talk about the new album Once Upon A Lie! I have to admit I haven't stopped listening to it!
Dave (guitar/vocals): Gary (drummer) and I had about 30 songs we put together, and it was July of last year that we wanted to start recording. When we all got back from various tours, we went to my house, built a studio and did the whole thing in the bedroom.

TWIST: Wow! 30 songs?! How'd you narrow it down?
Dave: Originally the album was 18 songs, because you couldn't fit too much music on one disc. We literally packed the CD as much as we could!

Gary: There was like a minute or a half left on the CD!

Dave: We rammed it! And then Liz, our manager, was like, 'Do what you want to do and we'll just take it and run with it.' So we picked our favorite 18 songs and put it out locally in Rochester, NY. And here we are!

Tony (lead vocals): Then, we had to narrow that down to 11 tracks! That was even harder. 30 to 18 then 18 to 11, that was tough!

TWIST: So, 11 songs made the CD. Which one is your personal fave?
Tony: "Once Upon a Lie!" The title track is my favorite track. Absolutely.

Jason (bass): That one or "Only for Tonight"

Gary: I'm a big "Everyday" fan because that's fun to play live!

Dave: Yes, that's definitely the most fun to play live. I probably like the single "Until I Met You" the most.

Jack (guitar): I'd say "Only For Tonight."

TWIST: And I'll go with "I'm Through!" So, what's been your #1 album of the year?
Dave: My favorite album this year is probably Intuition by Jamie Foxx. I just love R&B.

TWIST: You mentioned touring, so what band rituals do you guys have?
Gary: Sing-a-longs in the van going from show to show! In the middle of the night, somebody will be driving while everyone is sleeping. And suddenly, Wilson Phillips will come on [everyone laughs] and we'll start singing and rockin'! Somebody starts, and it's just on!

Jack: It helps when the coffee runs out and you gotta keep driving!

TWIST: Sounds like fun! What are your must-have snacks on tour?
Tony: I drink water non-stop. I always have 2 bottles. Always. We have like cases of water blowing through the van.

TWIST: Takes up more space than your equipment right?
Tony: Yes, definitely!

TWIST: And do you guys have any traditions or superstitions about going on stage?
Gary: We have a little rock-a-thon and put our hands together.

Dave: For bigger shows, we do a little huddle up.

TWIST: I'm sure you guys get pretty pumped to be on stage! Has anyone fallen down or fallen off stage during a show?
Tony: There are certain times!

Dave: Tony has a move where he Nancy Kerrigan's his way around the stage, like triple lutz action! And he went down - we got it on tape! I'll send it to you!

TWIST: Do you guys have any quirky habits?
Gary: When I'm wearing socks, the right one is inside out all the time.

Jason: I have to have cereal around me at all times. I can eat cereal 3 times a day.

T: Last question, who are your celeb crushes?
Jason: Robert Pattinson! (Joking!)
