Push Play's Midnight Romeo has been getting lots of radio time lately and I'm liking it! What do you think? I hung out with the boys (CJ, Steve, Nick and Derek) a few days ago. TWIST: Congrats on being in the Top 40 guys! What have you been up to?
Derek: A little bit of everything. For about two months we did a radio promo tour with every Top 40 station basically in the whole U.S. And now throughout September we are doing all these cool radio shows with other bands like Justin Beiber, Boys Like Girls and Jesse James.
TWIST: Let's take about Midnight Romeo. What is a Midnight Romeo?
CJ: What's a Midnight Romeo? That's a good question.
Nick: I guess it's just like, you're Casanova. He's a smooth, suave guy.
Steve: He swoops in at the last minute. He's romantic.
Derek: But he takes a girl out and stuff too.
CJ: Makes them glow.
TWIST: Makes a girl glow?
CJ: Glow, yes. Makes it look like she is glowing.
TWIST: How does he do that?
CJ: I don't know. He's just so romantic that he makes them glow.
TWIST: Who is the most romantic person in your band?
CJ: Steve.
Nick: Probably Steve because he's been going out with his girlfriend for so long.
TWIST: Who is single and who has a girlfriend?
Steve: CJ is the only single one. All three of us are taken.
TWIST: Who is the best wingman?
CJ: Derek.
Steve: Derek is the WORST wingman!
CJ: Steve's pretty good just because...actually I take that back. We're all pretty bad.
Steve: Yeah. It's every man for himself. We're not really looking out for each other. When you're with each other all day on a bus, that wingman thing just goes right out the door.
TWIST: So the Midnight Romeo video was with Emily Osment. What's she like?
Nick: She's cool. We actually did her video the day before we shot ours.
Steve: We were the back up band in her video All The Way Up.
TWIST: What was Emily like? Is she shy? Talkative?
Nick: Definitely not shy.
Derek: She's really cool. Before our two days of videos, we all went out to dinner to kind of break the ice.
Steve: She has good taste in music.
TWIST: Do you guys have any weird habits?
Derek: CJ stares into the mirror frequently.
CJ: To fix my hair! And so do you, Derek!
TWIST: CJ, how long does it take for you to do your hair?
CJ: Not nearly as long as it takes Derek!
Derek: Not anymore. I got a hair treatment.
Steve: Derek got a keratin treatment.
Derek: Yeah, I got it done.
CJ: Honestly, it doesn't take me that much time. It takes me like four minutes to do my hair.
