No, they didn't copy Twilight. Vampire Diaries (the books) came out BEFORE Twilight. It was realeased in 1991 and Twilight books was realeased in 2005. If you read the books, the plot is different from Twilight too. The only thing they have in common is a vampire falling in love with an immortal. Can't wait to watch it though! :D

They didin't copy Twilight. This book came out before Twilight. I will always be a Twilight lover first (Team Jacob) but I am so looking forward to watch this.

-Angel (He was in Buffy (^) But now has his own show, && he was a Vampire with a soul who LOVED Buffy & if they had a momment of true happiness he lost his soul! It was Great!!)
