With the Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie premiere just more than three weeks away (it airs August 28th on Disney!), the cast has started to predict what might be in store for the Russo family. As viewers know, the three Russo kids will eventually have to compete in a magical competition, and only the winner will be able to keep wizard powers. David Henrie, Jennifer Stone and Selena Gomez all think that big brother Justin def deserves the title.
"He's the most responsible," David dishes. "He takes his studying seriously and he'll make the right decision at an important time."
Jen totally agrees. She spills, "I really like someone who works hard and is really disciplined, so I think Justin should win. It'd be hilarious if Max ended up with the powers because he's the one that everybody least expects." That would be pretty funny!
Sel also thinks Justin should become an adult wizard, but shares, "It would be interesting to see Max win because there's something hidden in him underneath. He's really paying attention." You might think that Sel would want her character to win, but she thinks Alex has other plans. "She is so independent. She loves magic, but it's not her number one priority, whereas Justin lives and breathes it, and Max is there and does the work. Alex can find other things to do with her life and her friends and family."
And how does little bro Max aka Jake T. Austin feel about all of this? "I would love it if, in the last episode, our long lost brother or sister that we never knew about came in and won the power... and then did a spin-off," Jake said. Hmm, if that means more Wizards, then we think it's a great idea!
Jake did say that there'll be a "mini wizards competition" in Wizards: The Movie, but "it's not the final one and it's just a temporary result."

I actually think it will be Max! because it would be to obvious for Justin to win.I mean we all know him as the smart one & Alex for sure just plays around with her powers for silly things which I think she will be okay to give them up.Max I am Rooting For You! i think alex might win, but i think she's going to fall in love with a mortal, and she'll give up her powers for that mortal. Then Justin will be told he gets to keep his powers since Alex gives hers up but Justin being so into the rules wont accept them because he didnt get them fairly, leaving Max with the powers. thats one of my theories. My SECOND theory is that when one of the Russos expose the wizard secret (it is said in 'future harper' that one of them spills the beans) i think the rule of only having one wizard in the family will no longer apply since wizards are already known (and i believe the one wizard per family rule only was made in order to make it less likely that wizards get exposed) and they will all get to keep their powers. Just two of my theories right there
