Hey TWIST girls!
We are so excited for the ABC Family premiere of 10 Things I Hate About You at 8 pm tonight! TWIST recently chatted with the stars of the show and we're bringing you the highlights from our convos with Meaghan Jette Martin and Lindsey Shaw, who play sisters Bianca and Kat. Check out our Q&As with cuties Nicholas Braun and Ethan Peck after the jump!
Meaghen Jette Martin
TWIST: Hi Meaghan! Tell us about your character Bianca?
Meaghan: Bianca is a social butterfly. And I think what really makes her stand out is she's very determined. She knows what she wants in life and she knows how to get it.
TWIST: What are you most looking forward to seeing happen?
Meaghan: It's going to be very interesting to watch all the relationships develop. I think that's what I'm most excited for because there's tension between Kat and Bianca, and I think it'll be a lot of fun to play that up with Lindsey. You see that they love each other, but they definitely disagree with each other a lot, too. And it's also going to be fun to watch Cameron and Bianca. She's totally oblivious to his massive crush on her!
Lindsey Shaw
TWIST: HI Lindsey! Tell us a little about your character Kat?
Lindsey: Kat is a very strong and driven young woman. She has very definite goals for who she is, what she wants to become and how she's going to get there. This high school drama nonsense? She's over it! She has a harsh exterior and she doesn't have time for people who don't stimulate her.
TWIST: How do you think the relationship will develop between Kat and Patrick (played by Ethan Peck)?
Lindsey: I am so excited for this relationship because Kat completely meets her match in this boy! He's somebody that's not driven away! He's intrigued by her harsh exterior. That will be a fun dynamic to continue -- to get on each other's nerves!
TWIST: The first episode starts at the beginning of the school year. Will we see the typical high school activities, like going to football games and school dances?
Lindsey: Absolutely, you're going to see all of it! You're going to see a little bit of that right in the pilot. Bianca is involved in a lot of extracurricular activities and even Kat gets involved with some. The school atmosphere will certainly be very present for both of them.

TWIST: Hi Nicholas! Let's talk about your character Cameron?
Nicholas: Cameron might be the most fun character to play -- that I've ever played! When I first saw material for it, when I saw the script and stuff, even though he's not so close to who I am, I felt really comfortable playing him. He's a goofy guy! He's not necessarily a nerd, but he's not by any means a cool guy. He plays in the school band, he's in the AV club. He's on the sidelines. But what I like about him is when he wants something he goes for it. And in this case, he's going for Bianca!
TWIST: Do you think he'll do any grand gestures to show Bianca he likes her? Meaghan told us Bianca is going to be a little clueless about it.
Nicholas: Yeah, I think she will be clueless to it. But I don't know if he has any big deal things like asking her out to dances in front of the school. I think he's probably going to do some personal things. Like he's going to learn French. He wants to learn French so that he can tutor her. And he has no clue how to speak one word in French! So he's going to do all these intimate things to try to win her heart. He would be a really good boyfriend, but she just won't see any of it!
TWIST: Now, we don't want to start any cast drama, but Lindsey called you out saying you're most likely to be the set prankster! Any truth to that?
Nicholas: April Fools! You know something? She might be right! I've been known to get a little sneaky and pull some pranks on set. She might be the first victim!
Ethan Peck
TWIST: Hi Ethan! Can you tell us about your character Patrick?
Ethan: Patrick is a mysterious man. He is perhaps a little older to give him that element of mysteriousness. I think that we're establishing that he keeps to himself and maintains his mystique all on his own. So we don't actually know too much about him yet.
TWIST: Have you had any embarrassing moments on set yet?
Ethan: Sort of! I don't have my motorcycle license, and my character does ride a motorcycle. And they had to obviously bring in a stunt double for me when Patrick is zooming away on his bike, but when I had to be on the motorcycle for a shot, we would have two crew members push me into frame!

I'm probably Kat because she's more driven and stands up for WHATEVER she feels like. Plus I'm a brunette!!! Also I just watched it and it was funny!
