Today, Emma Watson fills you in on similarities and differences between her and her character, Hermione.
Emma's going to start college in the fall, so she relates to Hermione's studious side. "I really enjoy school, I really enjoy learning, as she does too." Also like Hermione, Emma's "receptive and feminist and quite competitive." When we were on set in London, we confirmed that with her cast mates - she was the reigning ping pong champion!
The one trait Emma doesn't share with Hermione? Her fashion sense! "I used to get really upset about the clothes I had to wear," she dishes to us. "I never wanted them to dress me because I was terrified that everyone would think that I was like that in real life. I would say, 'I'm not like her! I'm really into fashion! I'm really not like this, trust me!' Now I have an instinct of what she would wear and I have a bit more fun with it now."
