Yes, I have friends that i have drifted apart from. We have changed and after you come into highschool you begin to see who your real friends are. My ex-best friend and I had a fight over a gossip thing. we forgave each other and we talk 4rm time to time, but I don't think we'll ever be friends again like we were b4. But that's fine w/me.

Me and my friend Kalli kind of drifted apart. We were best friends in 5th grade and then in 6th grade we got split in to two different classes so i started hanging out with my other friends in my class. I guess you can call it the more popular group. Kalli wasn't really in it. She hung out with her class friends more and more and eventually she started disliking the group i was in and trying to make me jealous. Then My friend Mel and I were going to have a joined B-Day party, She was going to come in till she heard it was Mel's B-day too and she started saying she had things to do on that day. Mel and My friend Jazz are moving away so they are kind of drifting to and Kalli is there for me. so i guess she is a good friend school just got in the way

Me and my BFF use to do everything together but this year we we weren't in the same class. We kept trying to hang out whenever we could but it didn't work out so well. I had my new group of friends and she had her's. We started hanging out less and less and now we don't seem to even speak to each other anymore. Everytime I go to talk to her one of her new friends always but in and she acts like I was never even talking. When she tells me she'll call me after school she doesn't. It's gotten to the point where she doesn't even look at me. I wish we would still hang out but it doesn't seem to be working. Because like I said before if I'm talking to her one of her friends show up and start talking to her like I'm not even there. Now I'm sad not talking to her anymore. I had a best friend since first grade, last year she moved out of state, we are still close, but not as close as we used to be, we don't talk as much any more...but I sure wish we did...:(...We were also in different classes, so she got to know and becomes friends with the girls I couldn't stand!But we are still kinda' close...I guess.

yes me and my bff deja were parted at one time. We had been like sisters for a year and we promised never to fight over boyz. She and i both knew she knew that i liked her (now ex) boyfriend brandon. So We had an overnight arguement while i was spending the night over her house it was quiet all night. I had a really great friend. She was one of my closest. We were really happy about going into the next grade and everything!! Yes. One of my bff's and I drifted apart. I used to always go to her for my probs and talk about the guys I liked then she would always be like "STOP TALKING ABOUT YOURSELF!!!!" So I thought maybe I was talking too much about my self so I stopped. THen she was all talking about it. THen she started flirting with my friends bf and denied it when it was so obvious. I had two really good friends once but one of us was always being left out. We weren't a really popular group but we didn't mind! A few years later, me and one of the other girls fell out with the other girl, that didn't last though! We became bests of friends again! But then one of the girls got a boyfriend. There was a new girl in my school and my friend was being nice by showing her around and hanging with her. My BFF transferred schools and moved about a half an hour away almost four years ago. I really miss her. We don't get to talk much because I have dance and she has karate. Her computer doesn't work a lot so she never gets my e-mails. Sometimes when I feel my other BFFs don't get me, I wish my friend still went to school with me because she understands me. We've known each other since we were literally two. She's exactly like me and loves the same things that I do. So if I want to go on Webkinz or play dolls or something that's probably too old for me, she doesn't criticize, she does it with me. I love her.

Well I'm going into 7th when school starts again, and I noticed while in 6th grade that girls can be really mean! I made some new friends this year but I can tell who my true friends are, not the ones who just do'nt think your cool enough or do'nt fit into their group. Yes once when I was little in the 4th grade me and my BFFL got seperaded because we got diff classes.We were in the same classes for three years. We promised to stay in touch but we never did only at receas but soon we started to hang with our other newer friends but when I moved a couple weeks befor she gave me her # but I could never call Jessy we were like sisters!!! Yes, my best friend, and I have drifted apart. Sadly, we are still that way, but it was for the better. We were best friends for three years, since seventh grade when she moved and ended up going to my school. We became friends right away and immediately grew closer. However, as soon as we entered high school everything changed. She became more of a socialite, her grades ended up slipping but we still managed to stay close, but once our second year of high school rolled around, she ended up only caring about the social part of her life and left school in the dust. She became friends with a different girl and we drifted apart. She pretended like everything was fine, but underneath, we stopped doing things together, she did EVERYTHING with her other ' best friend'. We ended up fighting A LOT and it would always be ' my fault' In the end, I realized my life was better without her, because all it contained was DRAMA and LIES, I couldn't trust her with anything, she would lie and then blame everything on me! Now, we are not friends, however we will talk to each other from time to time, if I see her in the hallways at school, but other than that, all I have are the memories of the three years before. What everyone has to realize is high school changes people, some for the better and some for the worse( in my case, it was for the worse). But it also, in some way is like a little test. You figure out who are your true friends. The people that will stick with you through all four years and beyond, past the little, petty fights, and the boy drama, and then you realize the people who aren't worth your time, the ones who decide to change to fit in with the ' in crowd' or with other people's standards.

well i was really close with this one girl but i found out she was dating the guy i liked. After that we didnt talk for a long time because when they broke up me and him dated for a year. wen i first entered middle school i had a bff we were so tight i thought nothing could split us up then once we got into the school year things progressed new friends sports and school work as we started to go through the year we seem to loose our friendship in the mix of this and we ended up stop being friends because we had differrent groups of friends and were totally different and we didnt get along anymore we tried to fix our friendship many times and sometimes we would be friends for one week and then the nxt it wasnt the same so we ended up drifting away it was sad because tht was one of my closest friends but i knew tht i had others and maybe tht friendship juss wasnt meant to be

Me and my friend have actually drifted apart this summer. It was kind of sad to realize cause we have been inseprable for years. She noticed it too, we were talking about it and we havent really fixed it. I don't know what to say to her. I have been driffed away. I was staying at a camp for a week i made some really great friend but when will i see them again. Then a couple days ago i saw my Friend Maren from camp at my pasters going away party I found out that we get to go to her dad's YESH!
