Hey TWIST girls!
My name is Jyll, and I'm the new TWIST summer intern! We are in the final stretch until Lines, Vines and Trying Times hits stores. It comes out exactly a week from today! To get us even more pumped, TWIST has two sneak peeks of brand new JB songs.
The vid above is "Poison Ivy" - it's totally rockin'! The song is about "how something may not be too good for you, but you keep going back to it because you can't resist the urge, the itch, to go back to the person," Nick has spilled. Our fave line? "Tried lines and tangled vines and trying times/ I can't walk away," just like the album title!
The second song (check it out below!), "Turn Right," is a beautiful love ballad. The JoBros slow things down with Nick strumming an acoustic guitar and Kevin playing the piano. So cute! The brothers admit that "Turn Right" is a very personal song for them. In the chorus, Joe sings, "Turn right into my arms/ Turn right you won't be alone... Hope to see you on the finish line." Aww!
