Hey TWIST girls!
We just got off the phone with Miranda! The super-sweet star of iCarly gave TWIST the inside scoop on the episode called "iDate a Bad Boy." It airs at 8 p.m. THIS Saturday on Nick! In our Q&A below, Miranda gives TWIST the behind-the-scenes deets on the episode (kissing, crushing and more!). And don't miss these two sneak peeks from the episode!
TWIST: Hi Miranda! What can you tell us about the "iDate a Bad Boy" episode?
Miranda: This episode is really cool because it's kind of like a movie. It was originally two episodes and it fits together really well, so now it's an hour special! I'm really excited about it. It's just really crazy because my character always does the right thing, and is kind of a goody-goody in a way. And to get to have her go out with a bad boy was a lot of fun!
TWIST: Your co-star Drew Roy is super-cute! What was like to work with him?
Miranda: He is so cute! It was so cool! At the screen test, he walked in and we did the lines together. He just seemed perfect for the part. And everybody in the room, all the girls were like, "Oh my gosh, he's perfect!" It was cool -- he was great! He came in and he was really fun on-set, too. He's a really good actor.
TWIST: Were you and Jennette crushing on him in real life?
Miranda: Yeah, we definitely think he's cute!
TWIST: Why do you think girls are drawn to bad boys?
Miranda: For Carly, opposites attract! I think she wanted to go for somebody different. She's growing up and wants to go for someone a little different -- somebody you wouldn't expect her to go out with. But, for people in general, I think girls think it's kind of cool. It makes the guy seem mysterious!
TWIST: How does Drew's character Griffin get a bad boy reputation?
Miranda: He wears leather jackets and he rides a motorcycle. The reason we end up meeting in the episode is because he tries to steal Spencer's motorcycle!
TWIST: OK, so we have to know! Is there a kiss?
Miranda: Yes, there is! It was my first on-screen kiss on the show. Kinda crazy!
TWIST: And how was it?
Miranda: It was good! I was nervous about it at first, but then we hung out and talked a lot. He was super-nice and cool about it.
Wowza! So cute! Will you watch "iDate a Bad Boy" this Saturday, TWIST girl? Can you relate -- have you ever liked a bad boy? Comment now!

It is now June 15; it has now been days since the episode aired and even though I know I am a bit late in responding--- I figure I could try it anyway, so here it goes. First of all, I will like to give respect to the people involved in making this episode as entertaing as usual. Thank you for your hardwork and dedication especially when most-- if not, all of you probably have to wake up at an ungodly hour in the morning to work on this and other episodes. So, I thank you for that. Second, speaking on terms of the actual episode while as good as it was; represented something that irked me a little. In the episode, it turns out that the shocking secret was that Griffin had a collection of stuffed animals called the Snuggle Buddies-- I think? I don't exactly remember the name of the toys; anyway getting back on topic, that wasn't what annoyed me. It surpised me, yes, but it wasn't dispointing at all ;in fact, I thought it was kind of endearing in a strange kind of way. It was kind of a reminder that anyone even the most wicked can have some light in them deep down inside; although some people seem to hide that side really well. Anyway, it was Miss Shay's reaction to this revelation that has me a bit disappointed. I thought that Shay would have been more open-minded and mature about the situation; apparently I was wrong. I have gotten over it by now ,and I don't wish any ill- feelings toward the girl; if that's what you're thinking. Although, I still wish she would learn this lesson eventually. Even if she dosn't( in which I hope she will), well then who cares really. If that's what she likes; it's fine with me, who am I to judge anyway? Thirdly, in regard to the last question (Can you relate -- have you ever liked a bad boy?) No. Can't say that I have. I don't even believe in love at all; sure it might be nice in the fairytales but I don't believe it could happen in real life in my opinion. In conclusion, all in all opinions aside; it was a pretty good episode I'd probably rate it as a B+. Well I hope you (whoever you are) enjoyed reading my first and last comment. Stranger Out. Forever.
