Hey TWIST girls!
Looks like Hayden is ready to put her dancing shoes on, too! Sources dished that she recently sang for the Footloose filmmakers -- it's reported that the remake will be a full-blown musical!
"They were really impressed," the insider revealed. "No one realized what a good singer she is."
If Hayden gets the gig as Ariel, the girl who falls for Ren, the city boy who moves to small town where rock music and dance are prohibited, she'll probably be starring alongside Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford. While he doesn't have the lead role as Ren yet, it's "pretty much a done deal."
Also in the running to play Ariel is Dancing with the Star's Julianne Hough.

I love both girls! I'm so happy that Footloose is back! I always watch dancing with the stars and Julianne is my favorite. I think she could pull it together as the role of Ariel and be fantastic. Best luck to both!

Julianne, she is so beautiful and she is also the best dancer on the planet and she can sing too. I also believe that she is a very good actress, look at all the ads she is doing, I thing she can act anything. She is just super.
This really isn't even a contest. Hayden is an actress and would definitely make the best Ariel. Julianne can dance but she has a way to go on her singing and from what I've seen she can't act. The only reason she is even getting any mention is because Julianne has made herself famous for her scandalous romances. I think it takes more than that to be in a movie.

If her brother Derek gets the part as Ren (who has played the part already, amazing) then Hayden would be a good partner for him.
Derek Hough should play Ren. He would be amazing. He already played the part and got rave reviews.

I would like to see either girl but i would say Hayden. Because she has more experience with acting than Julianne. Both of them can act and sing but i will have to say Hayden. Even though, Julianne has more experience in dancing. Hayden is awesome!!!
