Hey Girls!

I just talked with former Danity Kane member Shannon Bex about fashion, love and her new website IMFrenzy.com. Her Making The Band days are behind her and right now she is totally focusing on her website, which is exclusively for teen girls just like you. Read some of the questions she answered for TWIST after the jump:

Twist: So tell me about IMFrenzy.com:
Shannon Bex: It's like a slumber party online where girls can connect with each other and learn things about one another. There's a culture corner. There's fashion tips and beauty ideas. Fun videos. All kinds of things just to be girly and learn about each other in a community. There is everything from charity events to journaling to get girls involved in learning more about who they are and about each other. Girls are all too quick to hate on one another, so I'm excited there is a positive place to communicate.

Twist: So, you are married now to former Making The Band cast mate Ron Basada. How did you know he was the one for you?
SB: We had met through "Making the Band" because he is a dancer too. I had known him a few years because he was actually dating another girl on the team. We're still friends! It's OK! I was always just drawn to him thinking Gosh he is so cute! and Gosh! He's such a good dancer!, but I thought he would never go for me because I never got the guy I liked. After he broke up with his girlfriend, he was single for year and I really observed him. I was like, What is his dating style like? That says a lot about a person. He had been with his girlfriend for five years so I thought this would really tell me what kind of person he was. He actually, from what I observed, was still a gentleman and still a nice guy. I ended up breaking up with my boyfriend and two days after that, Ron called me and asked me out to lunch.
Twist: So it sounds like he had his eye on you too!
SB: Yeah. He said he knew the moment when he saw me audition that he could see himself with me. But I think after the first month of dating, I just knew. I know that's really fast! I actually had a checklist for myself of the qualities, character and habits that I wanted my future husband to have. Because it's hard when you find that cute guy, you kinda let some standards go and you think Oh it's OK! It's not that important! But when you get older and are looking into marriage, you need to be picky. You need to realize that you deserve everything you want and you can have everything you want. So Ron measured up to my checklist and added a few bonus things!

Twist: What fashion trends are you into right now?
SB: I love scarves! I have so many colors. I have yellow and purple and white. I layer them up and I just think accessories add a lot of an outfit. I always buy basics and you can change the look of an outfit so much by a belt or scarf or a necklace.
Twist: Where do you like to shop?
SB: Actually, I love Forever21! Forever and ever will I love Forever 21. I'm such a bargin shopper. Like this purse. I cannot buy a purse over $40. My husband got this for me on sale for $10 from Banana Republic.
