Oh yea! Well, actually, it didn't turn out very pretty. I think that there's really no getting out of liking the same guy, and who ever he chooses should be the one to be with him and there's no use to go all "You stole him from me" on your best friend JUST because a guy chose you over her. But you have to remember the person who always helped you when you were down, and always elped you when you broke up with a guy or had a hard relationship. If it wasn't your friend, but it was the guy then hold on to the guy and i don't think that your friend truly is a friend. But if your friend is the one being nice then you shouldn't even be thinking about letting your friend go. You don't want to lose that kind of friend.........do you?
In the 7th grade oe of my bestfriend and i both liked this kid named Teddy. We both went co-co bannas over this kid! We were willing to do anything to have him. Even mess up our friendship. So one time my friend had this huge halloween party. It was amazing i came dressed as a frech made and Teddy was a sailor. Teddy and i flirted ALOT that night and it made my bestfriend really upset and mad at me. I knew she liked him more then i did but i still went after him. In the end Tedyd and i ended up dating for 7 days and then he broke up with me. My bestfriend and i didn't talk for months. It was bad. I would try to aploigze to her but he wouldn't listen. this experince taught me a lesson to never pick a boy over your bestfriend, because i lost an amazing friend. Today me and her are friends, but its not like how it use to be. She is afaird to trust me anymore and i feel like a fool still till this day. There was this guy that i was on-again, off-again with for about a year. Then one summer we were on again. I was totally happy because i liked him more than ever. Then my best friend starts talking to him more and more and chatting with him online. She was also secretly hanging out with him. I talked to her about it and she promised me that she would never hurt me like that and that i could totally trust her. Well turns out the whole time they were messing around and when i talked to her about it, she got mad at me and said that it was my fault, even though he was my boyfriend. After that we stopped talking to eachother and she went around the whole school, telling everyone that i was trying to take him from her and that i was really mean about it. It really hurt too because then alot of people that i knew were taking her side because of what she said, and then they all started spreading rumors about me. It was really bad and it affected my school grades. Since then i've moved away, and i now realize that it was really not worth it. He was just a guy, and if all it took was some girl to take him away from me, then he was bound to stray anyways. Guys come and go and its really not the most important thing during your teenage years. It was only 5 months ago that this happened but i am really over it. And i am not going to let any other guy ever affect me like that again. My school grades are really important to me and are actually going to affect me in the future, but some random guy won't. So i want to say to all the girls that wallowing about some guy just isn't worth it. Focus on what is now and not what has happened in th past. It really makes life a lot easier.

I really liked this guy. im pretty sure i was in love with him, no joke, he was my world. i will never forget him. well i tried talking to him and i bombed he pretty much thought i was a freak. so i got my friend to talk to him for me because she is really good at talking to guys. she talked to him for a while, and everything was going good. she would show me some of the conversations, when she talked about me. but then i started to notice that she didnt show me conversations anymore, and she talked about him alot. i started to get suspicious, then one day she brought it up on msn and she confessed to liking him she also confessed to liking him years before. i was crushed, angry, every emotion you could imagine i was feeling it. i was so angry, i actually hated her and was so jelous of her for a period of time. then i finally came to my senses and realised that our friendship was more important then a guy. i apoligized to her and we became friends again. lucky for me she got over the guy and sadly i didnt. I still havnt fully gotten over him. its true what they say your first love will always have a piece of your heart.

Oh yea. ONce my friend ashley and i liked a boy named tristen (I still like him) and when she found out i liked him our friendship became a little more difficult. Well one of my BFFL's was like IN LOVE with this guy and she had me talk to him for her and she had me do it so much that I even started to like him, but then I found out that he was on my basketball team, I told her and she jokingly started to hate me. Eventually as the weeks went on, I started to fall for him, she could see the look I got when she talked about him and she got supicious. So I went and told her, she was SOOO mad at me. But two weeks later she started to talk to me again.
Two months later he fell for me, and broke her heart. I felt so bad that I gave him up for her, but the thing was that he didnt want her. She was even more heartbroken.
Its been eight months and she realizes how in love we are and she's over him, but I still feel bad when I bring it up.

Ever since the 1st grade i liked this amazing guy. Time went by and in the 3rd grade he asked me out. And of course i said no only because i didnt want anyone to know about me liking him. Then in the 5th grade he asked out my bff. she said yeah. he really liked her. at least 3 times a week she would dump him and then theyd get back together and so on for like 4 months. I just couldnt help but see that the guy that i liked for years was being hurt so many times. I finally went up to her and said listen you know your hurting him alot and i know your doing for the popularity can u please stop i hate to see him upset all the time (she knew i liked him) and she said DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO and then she stomped away. i couldnt believe it! we didnt talk for months!!! finally the guy i liked told me that he was tired of being dumped so many times and then we asked me out!!! and were still dating!!!!!!
Well, my friend and I both liked the same guy in 4th grade. That time didn't go well because she ALWAYS gets all of the guys that she likes. So when she told the guy that I liked that I liked him, he totally freaked out. So when we got to pick who we wanted to sit by during class, she picked a spot right next to him and then they ended up going out for a while. Then we went to like a pool party in the middle school and they turned off the lights so all the light we had was the romantic lights in the pool. They were diving together off of the side of the pool and having a great time. I got really mad. I had to empty out my goggles because the tears kept filling them up. It was terrible. I told her that I never wanted to speak to her again and that I wanted to move like 3000 miles away so that I would never have to see her again having so much fun but now we are very best friends. But the bad thing is now is I am cursed from that day swimming because every time I go into a pool at night with the lights turned on under the water I always start having flashbacks of that day and it is really hard for me to swim without remembering that day and yet again I still cry about it sometimes up to this day.

Yes! But I dont mind cuase we can always talk about how cute he is and wat it would be like to be his gf. but if the guy chose my friend, that would be a different story. I would still be friends with her just a lot of jelousy would build up inside me. But thank goodness thats never happend! :)

I had a best guy friend in kindergarten and soon I began to like him more than a friend. In grade five he began to go out with my best friend, and I was so jealous! Soon they drifted apart for good, so I asked him out. He said yes and I went to his house for a day. We stayed together for five months then broke up, then went out for another month. Soon he got back together with my friend again. I had to watch them talk by a lake at sunset (MY DREAM!) and I nearly burst out crying. Then he did something horrible (witch I am not allowed to say)and they broke up again. And now me and my friend promise to try and forget him as much as we can. Its difficult, but it brought our friendship closer then ever. We both still like him even though he did that, but its not the same. Nothings the same, but this change may be for the better. Who knows? ;)
