Well, somtimes I do. It mostly happends when I have to do chores or I dont get something I want. But now I'm more mature and I realize that sometimes people dont get everything they want and you just have to respect your parents and know that they love you and they want the best for you!

Well, me and my mom are the only poeple that live in my house! i have to say that is really tough and not many kids have only one parent but....sometimes i hate her for not letting me do what i want since i am 13...but i love her! i have to say we have our on and off's but we get by that and start a whole new conversation!But yes i get along with my mom!

Well... my mom and I have an awesome relationship. She's my best friend we tell eachother everything.
Now... since my dad lives in Argentina, I don't really hear from him and it's kind of a rocky relationship.

I love my mom and dad but... i ncool stores like abercrombie and hollister my mom does the most embarrissing things. Like the hollister music had an old song on so my mom starts to sing it over and over again , THE WHOLE STORE WAS LOOKING AT ME!

My parents and I are really close. I don't know what I would do without them. I mean we have occasional spats once and a while but who doesn't? I think the most important thing is that you treat each other with respect and that will make you that much more closer to your parents.

My parents can really get into my business sometimes. They just worry about me way to much. Once my diary was laying out and when i woke up, to my suprise my mom was holding my diary in front of my face and said "WHAT IS THIS". I had my crush written all over it. My parents need to understand im not there little baby anymore and that i'm going to like a lot of boys.
I absolutely love my parents. I go to my mom for everything. She's my best friend. She's helped me through everything that's gone on in my life. We don't always see eye to eye, but her and my dad are always willing to hear my out and they always help me with whatever I need.
yeah i guess. i pretty much get along with them. they're not the closest people to me, though. i don't tell them every single little thing about me. they're VERY protective of me though. i practically have to beg for anything i want. sometimes i feel like they're hindering me from being myself (especially my mom). it's kind of annoying. i'm counting the days until i turn 18 and i'm 16 now.

i get along okay with my mom, but sometimes i dont get along with my dad. i LOVE avril lavigne, shes my fave singer, and i went to her concert last year. my mom was gonna drive me there and stuff and my dad almost wasnt gonna let me go! he didnt wanna let me go bcuz she was on the cover of "Maxim" magazine and there were some kind of racy photos in there. so i was all sad, but my mom talked to him about it and i got to go. =)

i used to never ever get along with my mother! Up until one day i was looking at a Jonas Brother magazine and it said that if Nick dates a girl, she HAS to be nice to her mom and i flipped out! Ever since then, i have been super nice to my mom because i absoulutly love nick jonas! he is just an awesome guy, and his music is really great, and whats not to love. ?! But now, thats the reason why i make sure im ALWAYS nice to my mother!! =]

i do not get along with my mom. it's like i dont get 'ny space. she wakes up late so i hav to get up early on a saturday mornin to watch what i want on tv. the stuff i like is stuff she seen before and she doesn't like if she saw it again, so i think she purposly goes out with me and sleeps on tha couch, so i can't watch it! but i still like her.

Pamela, i understand what you are going through my parents were like that, my advice is go have a heart to heart talk with them tell them you want to be closer to them and that you need to talk to them and you really need them to listen. Remember if they say something you dont like dont get mad just talk it out.
Ok Tori Donston, you need to straiten up. I know i'm not your mom. but you need to tell them how you feel and see if you can make your relationship better. dont ever say you wish they were dead because if they dead this moment you would be so mad at yourself. you need to not lash out and respect them they want you to have the best life you can have and i doubt that when you have children you will let them say that to you.
my parents are the most amazing people in the world i have learned so much about them. they truly are my best friends. We do have some bad times here and there but not anymore my life has become so much more easier knowing that i have two great loving caring and respectable people in my life.

My advice for you is get to know them talk to them try to work something out where you can talk and they can help you and you can help them.
I think it's important that you use the 5 second-rule with your parents: you each wait 5 seconds before you speak. I got this rule from either TWIST or M magazine, but it works well! You can't understand each other properly when you're trying to out-scream one another... Personal experience...

My Mom just totally doesn't get it. She treats me like a child and has a bad temper and sucky patience. I don't like talking to her about anything---She wouldn't understand, and she wouldn't tried to understand. It really sucks when you feel like you're alone at life. She's told me before that I'll never have any friends or ever get a boyfriend in High School. That really got to me . . . At least I know I'll be a better parent then her and my kids won't have to suffer.
well, believe it or not i've really have a great releationship with my mother. I don't have a relationship with my father, because when i was born he actually didn't what me as his daughter. So i go more to my mother for advice or if something is wrong.I also go to a teacher, friend, or some other individual i know very well. So i love my mom so much..

I do most of the time. They answer my questions and help me, but sometimes i feel like they don't want to talk so they just ignore me. The one thing i would want to change is the relationship. I don't talk to my mom about most things, i usually talk to friends. Sometimes I feel like they want more from me than I can give. I love them, but I feel like they dont get me.

Sometimes when I talk to my parents, I wish they could be in my shoes for a day. That way they exactly what's going on and exactly how to solve it.
Also, sometimes if things get to dramatic at school with bullies, I keep it from them. I know that they would immediately call the principal. I don't want to handle things that way because the bullies would probably pick on me more. I do admire my parents though, because I know they don't want me to be bullied.

Well, it depends on what they do. When my Mom tells me to do certain things, I get really mad. But other times she can be really nice. Its hard to believe that she was once our age, but she was.

Well not really sometimes. Its kinda hard they know hows it like to be a teen but they're not you so when they try and help they get confused or hate what your telling them. So it kinda sucks. Sometimes i want to be open but it sucks

My dad has kinda abandoned me this past year. So no i dont really get along with him and as much as that hurts, I know its not my fault. My mom on the otherhand has been there for me ALL the time. I love her so much. She is almost like a best friend. There are many times I get annoyed with her, or think she is taking things out on me that she shouldn't. We will fight and argue. But she is my mom. If I really have a problem, I can go to her. Im her daughter, I am a part of her. We are more like good frends most of the time. And I love that. I admit it can be hard for mom to be my friend and also have to be my mother at the same time. But we work on it together. Through ups and downs.
Not really. Sometimes we have the best relationship for mother/daughter, but that can change with her headache and my mood swings in a second.
okay my dad and I have always been close and I cant remember when Ive EVER been mad at him but my mom on the other hand she is the one who tells me what to do and says that i cant have a boyfriend and im 13!!!so I get mad at her sometimes but I usually just forget about it in like 30 min. so its all good. I always fight with my mom. I think I should have a say in things too. She orders me to do things I don't want to or says no to something she promised. She makes me mad sometimes because she always wins the battle or else I'll get grounded with no phone, computer, books, or TV. I don't think it's fair. I disagree with what she says a lot. She wants us to have a healthy relationship. She wants me to tell her if I don't think something is fair but she makes it difficult. That's why sometimes I can't tell her things.
