Wowza, the Twilight and New Moon casting news just keeps on comin'!
TWIST recently reported that 90210's AnnaLynne McCord is in the running to be cast as Heidi in New Moon! AnnaLynne just confirmed it! And she also revealed she was almost cast as Rosalie in Twilight!
"They wanted me to play Rosalie," AnnaLynne spills. "I met with the producers when Twilight was casting, the original. I was on [TV show] Nip/Tuck at the time. And they were like, 'We'd love to have you in this little film we're doing called Twilight, but the family only has small roles.' They were like, 'It shoots in Oregon, so you probably couldn't do it anyway.' And I was like, 'If it shot [in L.A.] that would be cool."
We bet Nikki Reed is feeling pretty lucky she scored the Rosalie role instead! As for AnnaLynne playing Heidi, she dished that they are in talks about it right now!
"There's some scheduling conflicts, and we're trying to work that out now," AnnaLynne explains. "We'll see what happens with it, but hopefully -- fingers crossed -- it'll smooth over and we'll be able to work it out. I love Heidi! She's the fisherman; she's the bait. It's a fun character to play. But she's also a thousand-year-old vampire, so that's kind of badass."

Ok first of all why would they even think of putting Annalynna as Rosalie?!! Nikki Reed is awesome as her!! Second of all I don't think that Annalynne should get a part as small as Heidi! Pick someone decent!!!
I haven't really seen the movie, I broke my shoulder the week it came out, but I think Nikki looks more like how they describe Rosalie in the book
I love twilight and i love it because the people that are in it are people that havnt been in the spotlight for a while annalynne has with 90210 and nip/tuck .nikki reed is an amazing rosalie.and however plays heidi she also be someone that hasnt been in the spotlight for a while .

I really dont think that anna-lynn could ever carry the part of rosalie as well as nikki did!!! She rocked!!! Even though it took a long time for make-up, it was really worth the wait to see her act. So i think nikki was born to play rosalie and that i can't wait to see her in new moon and the rest of the series!!!

she is not as pretty as nikki so im glad she wasnt casted as rosalie. i like annalynne and everything but heidi is supposed to be gorgeous. she's cute but i dont picture her as heidi. but heidi is barely a character in the new moon so its all good either way. im just excited to see taylor lautner shirtless!!
I think thnat niki should keep playing rosalie in twilight. I think that they should keep all of the characters that they already have. If they use different characters i think that it will ruin the movie!

Nikki is the best Rosalie there could ever be. I really think AnnaLynne would not have been nearly as good. Plus, Nikki just gets Rosalie's "look" perfect. Having her look (even very slightly) different would ruin everything...in my eyes.

I think Nikki Reed was the PERFECT Rosalie in the movie, She was able to bring the character to life. I don't think that Annalynne would be right for the part and I can't see her as Heidi either, I can't see her as a vampire at all
