OMG! One TWIST reader ruins her crush's Christmas tree!

My crush, Rob, invited me to be his date at his family's annual holiday party. I was so excited because it's a super fancy party! I offered to come over early to help his mom set up. Once I got there, she asked me to hang up the mistletoe. I started climbing, even though the ladder felt a little wobbly. I tried to stay as steady as possible, but I couldn't help daydreaming that my crush and I would have our first kiss under the mistletoe! I reached to secure the mistletoe on the ceiling and I totally lost my balance and fell backwards onto their 10-foot Christmas tree! I completely knocked it over and dozens of ornaments shattered! Everyone immediately turned to see what made the loud crashing noise and just stared with stunned looks. It was terrible! Then, later at the party, his mom had to make up an excuse as to why the tree's decorations were more bare than years before. I'm pretty sure I was red with embarrassment ALL night.
