Um last year, there was this guy i "liked" and this mean girl thought i liked him cause i was asking him for a eraser......then she spread a roumor that we kissed and he was dating me. I so dont like him he was so unattractive! No one would like him. He looked like a rat!
Well mine is way worse than all of yours and i mean it!!!! i am kinda big but only 113 pounds. and i am in the 6th grade... and so i came back from the weekend and everyone started looking at me.. and im like oh well they were just looking at my coolest new shirt.. and so then everyone started coming up to me asking me if i was pregnat and im like NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! and then i had to take something to the office and then.... a day after everyone came up to me and asked me if i took a pregnece test to the offfice!!!!!????? Im like NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it was going on for 3 1/2 weeks!!!!!!!!! and now everyone asked me if i DID IT with a highschooler!!!!

One Day, I Was Becoming Friend's With This Mean Girl, and the next minute she said to everyone i had worn ducky underwear today. everyone was laughing. it was horrible, not funny.
I was new to my school this summer. I am in 7th grade and weigh 143 pounds. I know I am big, plz don't make fun though. Any way on the first day of school, this girl asked me if I was pregnant! I screamed at her, NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then she got mad at me and decides to tell all her friends that the reason I moved here was so that way my mom could get me away for the guy who got me pregnant. Now because of SO WRONG rumor I have one friend and everybody stares at me. Luckily the girl and her friends were sent to AEP for harassment and being an embarrassment and bad representitive of the school.

I got so angry with him especially after that the rumor started calming down, because I had a stomach ache so I put my hand on my stomach and someone saw me and started a rumor I was pregnat with the same guy! THE WORST THING IS: SHE MADE A VIDEO WITH POP UPS AND PUT IT ON YOUTUBE! ONE OF THEM HAD ME DRESSED WITH ONLY UNDERWEAR AND BRA KISSING JEREK, WHICH IS THE UGGLIEST, FATTEST, MOST RIDICULOUS PERVERT IN SCHOOL! AAAHHH!!!!!

When I was younger, a rumor started about me not being clean. Example, I didn't take showers, and etc. The rumor was spread and no one wanted to talk to me anymore. yeah i heard the most stupidest rumor of my life. i have a friend named felix and i always let him borrow my ipod because he gets bored and he wants to listen to music. because of doing that everyday, people started to think that i liked him. i had to tell everyone that didnt before it spread. next thing you know there was another rumor saying that i wanted lap dance from him. it was so stupid and i didnt talk to him for weeks. people in my school are idiots.

Some of my old bestfriends became friends with new girls in high school and changed a lot. When i got to highschool i tryed out for the softball team and made it. Yes, unfourtunately ive had a rumor started about me. At a dance competition me and my friends we playing around and having fun. One of the other girls went and told our dance teacher that we wouldnt let her play with us, which wasnt the truth. Our dance teacher came and yelled at me and the other girls, and a lot of people were mad at us. But then we talked it out with the girl and she told our teacher and everyone else that she made it up. Now were all really good friends!
...some advice for people that have rumors started about them, if you know theyre not true then dont worry about it, your the only one who really needs to know if its true or not. If people dont believe you then theyre obviously not your true friends.
I truly feel bad for all you girls out there and sent some comments to twist. I also had the same situition I was in fifth grade this girl hooked me up with this boy and I didn't know who he was. This year i was running 4 school preisdent against the two most poopular boys in the school. one of them started 3 nasty rumors about me the first two i blew off but the third really hurt. thefirst one was that since i was a vegetarian i would turn the whole school into vegetarians. the second one was that i was running because i had nothing better to do cause i was a girl and the third was that because i am a high academic and extra curricular activities achevier(which i am) and want to get really good grades was that i was only running to get school preisdent on my report card. that really hurt.also it wasnt true. but i had the worlds best friends who despised those popular boys and they helped me get through it and i beat both of them! my best friend also got vice preisdent! girl power!
Yes there has been a rumor about me supposely going around in school saying that I was jelous of my best friend, well former best friend. It was true but I did not make it OBVIOUS. I think I did but when I heard about it I was destroyed, I felt like my most darkest secret was exposed. This rumor went around when I already had a new best friend and I told my former best friend if she thought I was and she sayd no so I just played it off saying I wasn't. Me and my BFF sit next to this guy in class who's so freakin funny. During lunch we go up to him to talk. He was next to one of his guys friends. No not really well kind of like there was this one where someone said I ate paper and tissues with little surprises in them(ya'll know what I mean) it was horrible.
These two former friends of mine started to make up lies about me at school. The guy was listening to the girl saying that I liked him. She said this on a Friday and I confronted her on the next Monday. She said she did and I told her that she was wrong for doing it. She still continued to spread lies and said that I was dramatic for reacting. Why would I not react? I haven't spoken to the two since and my REAL friend told me on countless occasions that the guy wanted to talk to me and be friends again but I never wanted to. I had to move on and become stronger and in the end of this (which won't be until we all die) I am. I feel so much better knowing that ignoring them was the best thing.
OMG i had the worst rumor made about me, and guess who started it? She was my BFF!! She got mad at me cause of one of the guys I was crushing on, but the rumor was about a different boy. She told EVERYONE, including my cush, that i made out with the boy that sat behind me in English at the time, behind the school on a Saturday when i was out of town!! I was sooooooo Ticked and I nearly strangled her, I didnt though, becouse my crush was looking at me like I was some leper. Luckly he believed me when I told him the truth when he actually listened to me. The best way to get rid of a rumor is to tell the principal with witness, like a close friend or the person who the rumor was made about with you. That took care of my problem fast!!

Well theres this guy in my class named Michael H. Hes disgusting and weird. And one of my mean friends/X-best friends started spreading a rumor that i liked him cause i called him "hun" I CALL EVERYONE "HUN" I was SOOO embarassed.
Rumors are usually bad! right? but this terrible rumor had a good ending! last year when i was in the 7th grade, someone gave my number to an 8th grader and told him i like him! i didnt even know who he was, so he was telling his friends to tell me meet him by some places at school. but i was like "hello! i dont even know him" but one day he called me and left me a message saying to call him back and later that week my friends were having a little problem with him so i called him and asked him whats going on between them! and we started talking & texting 24/7. know we are the best of friends, like brother, sister! so even though i was like fully embarassed because everyone was teasing me & bugging me about that rumor, the ending gave me a best friend. so im kind of thankful for it. now hes even helping me with the background in some of my songs!

This rumor isn't actually about me it is about one of my friends, Gi. (yes her nickname is Gi and mine is CiCi) So this rumor got started that she was making out with her boyfriend, when she really wasn't. Me, and all of her other friends started to try and find out who it was, turns out it was someone else's MOM!!! How crazy is that? Gi and I are two of the most popular girls in our grade and a lot of times people try to put us down, it gets hard. I am on the yearbook committie...and there is this evil girl named Emily. Well she says I read while i am supposed to be working on my page but i dont. for some reason she hates me. well i have a friend named haley and she goes out with my friend brian...who is on the yearbook too. well she decided too spread a rumor all over school that i go out with brian...so now haley wont even talk to me!!!
i just recently turned 13 on monday the 19th of january. my mom got me a shirt i liked from american eagle, it was very comforable and it fit my style. the only promblem was it was from the boys section. to show my mom how much i appericated it, i wore it to school the next day with a really cutie hoodie. when i was walking to class to girls said that's a boys shirt right to my face and started to diss me. calling me a boy and how i don't fit in and called me a freak. a rumor got around that i'm an actually boy. whitch i'm not, im just a sporty girl. the rumor still stands today.

what had happen was, durring lunch i was talking to some guy and sometimes i start to flurt and dont relize it until 5 min. into the conversaton and one of his friends heard my say some detales about a boy i like and i gues he asumed i was talkink about him and before i knew it there was a rumor going a round that i liked himm and that i was his girlfriend whaen i found out i ran to his loker and siad what was the rumor all about and uot of no were put his arm around me and then KISSED ME! i was in shock and first of all every one was looking when he kissed me so know the rumor was suposubly true and to top it off it was a frist kiss and it totaly sucked, then i spreded a rumor that was true about his horible kissing and then after he hared it he said sorry and it will never happen again.(i dont belive him he'll probubly start another once he thinks of one)

We broke up an now we aren't as good of friends as we were before. I still don't know who started the rumor but who ever did ruined mine and his relationship and friendship.

yes!!!it was terrible.everybody was saying i had a crush on a really annoying kid 3 years younger that me.that kid even admitted to liking me and i told him that i didn't fell the same but everybody i talking about me and him and saying we are in love.it horrible!
OMG!!!! I was going out with this one guy. I liked him A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But his ex-girlfriend told him that I was trash talking him behind his back.Which wasn't true.The next day we broke up and I cried like a baby when I got home.He went back out with his ex-girlfriend. I was devestated!!!!!!!!!!!!! The day after that, the girl who I sit next to in homeroom who also liked him told him that I was going to try to break them up which was sssssssooooooooooooooo not true!!!!!!! She knew I had a better chance then her at getting him back then she did when the other couple broke up!!!!!! I still really like him and now he won't talk to me. I tried apoligizing so many times and telling him that I never said that but he doesn't believe me. I think the best thing to do when it comes to rumors is ignore them and then people will stop telling them if they realize it really isn't hurting you. My point is, rumors can do really bad things to people. If you start rumors you won't have friends. They can hurt someone in my situation or others more than anyone can imagine.

Okay. So one of my friends really has the gift of gab. Since she has a boyfriend and I don't shee kept on talking to every avalible guy in the school and especially one guy who I had a crush on. As a joke she said she'd pay him $20.00 to go out with me. there's always lots of rumors floating around that i like all the boys im friends with, but really i'm like a sister to them. i don't know why people act that way...
okk so. this girl was really mad at me forr well thats not important.
but she went around telling everyone i was having a baby!
i found out when this guy was like what are you having? who is the dad?

i was so madd.
then everyone kept asking me all these questions and people started calling me all types of unmentionable names. ugh, it was embarrassing and annoying and i was so maddd.

Of course people have talked about me behind my back and told rumors about me! I hate it so much that people can be that mean to others. This one girl for a year wouldn't stop talking trash about me and just about every night I cried. Eventually I gave in and told her off, she still hasn't talked or looked at me since, and I'm glad. How can you do that to some one that you used to be such great friends with???

Once when I was in grade 4, my class went on a feild trip to Mont Cascade in Quebec and there was this really scary ride. I got in the tube but then when i looked down the tunnel it was pitch dark so i freaked and got out. Then the next a girl in my class said that i started to cry and my mom had to calm me down. It wasn't that bad of a rumor but everybody in my class heard it and thought it was true including my crush. For that whole week i was known as cry baby, and it was all because one stupid rumor. What I've learned from this never believe rumors becasue one day that rumor might just be about you!!

The worst rumor went around about me it was when a girl in my class had a crush on a boy in my class and so did i. So she spread that we where dateing and kissing and junk like that and i hardly even liked him i liked a different boy .i have been dropping hints and everything to that boy. And that crushed all my chances with me and him! And he belived it big time!!
I was so mad at her i havent talked to her sents.

At school, I had a really good friend. Her boyfriend and I are pretty good friends, and she knows that. She was totally okay with that! Then one day, I was hugging her boyfriend as we left a class. She knows that he's like my BEST guy friend, so again, she was okay with it. This time, however, the mean girl struck. This girl hates me for no reason AT ALL! Since my friend had been cheated on by another guy, she was very protective of her bf. So, she went to my friend and told her that her boyfriend was cheating on her for me. Now I have a reputation as a boyfriend stealer, my friend won't talk to me, and every time she sees me talking to her boyfriend, she yanks him away.
Ok so I got an email from a boy in my grade that I am kinda friends with, but not really. It wasa forward like "Love Calculator: Type in your crushes name and see if you are meant to be" so i knew this wasnt true so i typed in his name, John, to freak him out. I wrote just kiding in the message and pressed ok and it said "your email has been sent to 'John' " and i got into school the next day and everyone was coming up to me and asking if i liked him and i was like " no it wasa total joke to freak him out" but no one believed me. So i just stopped telling them excuses. Well it all worked out cause a guy that liked me, Brian, got jealous and got in a fight with John i was rumored to like. Now i am dating Brian. haha

I think people who make themm up need to do somethingg betterr, or if they're goingg to be meann, write a private journal or somethingg, but don't show it to anyone ! There was this rumor going around (well I can't really say rumor cause it was true) that I wanted to kiss my crush. (we wern't going out) It was true but I wasn't going to tell anyone that. Even worst of all like a million ppl told the guy. I never told anyone that, so someone must have made it up. In the end though he didn't belive it. Phhhewww!!
There was once a rumor going around the school that was that I totally was in love with this guy [His name was Adam]. This guy liked me, and I didn't like him at all. He wasn't bad or anything, but he was creepy. He would like, kiss my hand and my jacket and follow me like a stalker. So my friend and I stopped the rumor by my friend kicking him in the.....melons. It was amazing.

Someone started a rumor that I stuff my bra with tissues. My frenemy,Gianna, was pulling on my sweater to get me to stay somewhere. It was a private school and I had to wear a school sweater over a peter pan collar shirt. We were having lunch in the class because something was going on in the lunch room. So Gianna was pulling on my sweater and she saw inside my shirt. She yelled out "Hey I can see your bra!" really loud in front of the class. No teachers were there but my crush was listening. I think he likes me too but he showed no reaction to the outburst. There was a crumpled up tissue in my hand when everyone looked so a boy started the rumor! hey. im from australia and i love this magazine, but here it costs $13 cuz its flown by aircraft.
Anywayz, im really skinny so sum fat cow posted notes around the skool saying that i was bulimic and iwanted to impress all the girlz cuz im lezo. none of that is true. i go 2 an all girlz skool, so i nearly was thrown out. even worse, i was called 2 the skool counseor. it was horriable!!! my mum (mom) even believed that i was. eventually she believed me. she told the skool that this was not true and the fat cow that started the rumour was suspended
Well, there was this guy that liked me and he asked me to dance at the school dance so I said yes. We were dancing and everyone was looking at us. After the dance everyone thought we were going out! When they asked him he said we were going out but I had no idea where he got that from (he didn't even asked me out) and people wouldn't believe me. But now he knows we're not going out and people actually believe me. It was like a very big rumour.
i'm 17 soon to be 18 and i recall 2 years ago this guy who liked me wouldn't leave me alone...it's like he wanted me or "something from me" for the longest time...one day while hanging out with friends...he took me upstairs saying we needed to talk... i didn't feel like "talking" because i thought he had some kind of hiddedn agenda...however we did end up talking and it wasn't so bad until people got other ideas...it was embarassing to have them think anything other than what truly happened and so many CRAZY stories developed...still i knew it wasn't true and i was able to feel good abt myself for not breaking down because of these rumours.

Yeah there was this rumor were like most of the school knew. We were seeing the twilight movie and after that we had a sleepover. I talk in my sleep sometimes. When i woke up the nest morning my friends were laughing. They said that I was talking about Robert the whole time and how I was going to marry him and stuff and after that me and my boyfriend we gonna have our first kiss and I called him robert. He broke up with me. People at school thought I was cheating on him but after everyone found out what happened they all laughed. It's cool now.

Last Year I was in 9th grade. And it was a new year and I was so excited Until I heard the rumor of the year. And It was about me. Someone came up to me an said So I hear you've done stuff with 100 guys a night?!?! Which is insane is that even humanly possible? Well when I heard this I ran to the bathroom crying. And People came in an talked to me trying to help me out. On the bus ride home my younger sister asked me what was wrong So I told her the story. She thought it was insane and mean of someone. I went home and told my mom after I told her I got online to talk to my friends and they said, You no I know who started that rumor I said who. They say prepare yourself for this.. IT WAS YOUR SISTER. I started crying and told my mom and she called my sister down stairs she Said Yea I said It. I said why I trusted you with my life. She said Well every year in high school everyone notices you and not me. So this year its my turn. Still to this day People ask me about that rumor. And since then I haven't trusted anyone.
Well this all started last year when my friend comes up to me and says so i heard that you messed with every guy in this town that i know. I told them no and i was so frustrted and mad that i just was taking everything out on my frinds and everything. I told my mom about it and she said don't worry about it. I ignored it but it just kept coming rumour after rumour about me. Now there is tons of rumours about me in that town and i don't really like going there but i still talk to theses guys there. I found out who was spreading these rumours and i confronted her and told her she wouldn't like it to much if i started rumours about her. And i used too live in a small town and there was this rumour going around that i was PREGNANT!!!!!
and the messed up part was it was with my cousin
and it was my first day at school and everyone was looking at me weird and i walked up too my best friend and i asked her what was going on and she told me that everyone thinks i'm PREGNANT and i stared laughing!!!!
and i asked her who with and she said it was my cousin!!!! i thought it was funny!
And every morning we go to the center of the school to say our prayers and after it was finished.
And then i stood up and yelled out to the hole school and I SAID HOW MUCH OF YOU THINK I'M PREGNANT AND ABOUT 75%OF THE SCHOOL PUT THERE HANDS UP AND I WAS SHOCKED THAT PEOPLE BELIEVED IT AND I YELLED IM NOT!!!!!!

Oh yeah, during 8th grade, I've gotten so many rumors from my close friends that I thought I could trust. I was on my period and during that I would bloat alot so this girl was passing notes in study hall to her friends and the girl next to me read the note and asked me "is it true you're pregneat"? and they all started laughing. I was embarrased, I couldn't believe that one of my close friends would spread such a mean rumor that wasn't even true! Also alot of people called me a backstabber when i just told my friend that i wasn't friends with one of my ex friends anymore, because she was a terrible friend, i lost so many friends because of that. I've learned to stop trusting every single person i become friendly with because i thought i knew them but right when i did it fired back at me and they turned out to be the worst-best friends you could ever have. okay, so its february 9th, 2009, and theres this guy i heard from my friend that he was going to ask me out. [i heard this on a friday] And so the entire weekend i was so anxious, and i could barely sleep. So on monday, dont think hes going to ask me out because we had 2 hours left of school, and he didnt at lunch, and i have to go to my next class, and hes not in it. So we are about to leave, and then he goes to sharpen a pencil, and then asks me. I was so nervous, and shocked even though i knew he was going to, and i blurted out 'i guess'. In my mind i was saying yes! But, i accidently said i guess. I felt so bad. But then 10 mintues later, it was time to switch classes. I went to my locker, and headed towards my next class band. I go there, get a drink, and then i enter the classroom. Like everybody is looking at me weird, and i finally asked, 'ok, whats going on, like everyone is staring at me weird, and ignoring me.' Then, this kid Tyler says 'yah, theres a rumor going around. The rumor is that me and you are going out.' i was totally shocked, and then i was thinking they must of got the names wrong or something because, im not going out with tyler, im going out with brandon, but i doubt i that could of been around the school in the matter of 10 minutes. So then i was asking, and asking, then i was mad at my best friend, and i was thinking she made the rumor because she was mad at me, or jealous, or whatever. Then i asked in a note, and she said she didnt, and had no clue about the rumor, or who may have started it. At the end of the day, and i still never figured out who started this rumor, since this day.

After the summer holiday when school started last year, a new girl started in our class, she came from another country so we didn't speak the same language. Immediately my 4 friends told me that she was a weirdo but they didn't even know her! I felt sorry for her, since she was new and didn't have any friends, so I invited her to sit with us at the lunch table. My "friends" didn't like it so they started to tell me stupid stuff like "You have to choose between us and her. She's our enemy and if you want to continue to be our friend she should be your enemy too!" I just couldn't believe my ears, it was so immature! And as stupid as I was I started to ignore the new girl 'cause I didn't want to loose my BFF's. But no matter what I did my "friends" judged me. If I said something from my own opinion they would freak out and start to nag at me for hours like "OMG whats wrong with you??" "OMG I can't believe you just said that!" or they would give me mean looks and ignore me. I started feel really sad and I would often get this worrying feeling in my stomach every morning on my way to school. I stoped to try to ignore the new girl after about 2 days because I didn't want her to feel as sad as I did ,besides, I felt like a horrible person.. During many weeks my "friends" whispered about me, act as if they where mad at me for no reasone and say mean sarcastic things to me. They frozed me out. Until one day when I finally realized that no one was worth to be treated this way. I started to spend more time witht the new girl who turned out to be a very nice person. I was happy that I'd made a new friend but at the same time very sad that I'd lost my old,very close, BFF's.. It hurted every time I saw them walking together and it hurted even more to know that they where spreading rumors about me. It took a whole year for me to forget about them and completely move on. I want to thank the Jonas Brothers, I heard about them during this time and started to listen to their music. It really helped me out becasue their songs are big inspirations to me e.g the song "take a breath" where the chours says "People change and promises are broken... don't forget to take a breath" I felt lost during that period but now I feel like a new stronger person with help from JB. OMW!!! My friend actually told me who started the rumor. Everyone kept saying that my friends like this boy. So my guyfriend did the same thing...except he said he liked me!!! Well one time long ago in 5th grade. So a group of "chismosas"nosy people came to me looking like if they were gossiping. They laughed and said we know who you like and more.
