I think out of those two deff. vanessa she has more potential and i think that she would be able ot do a wonderful job on the show but i would also love to see nick jonas on there OMG do u kno how many ppl would go to see the movie then and then how many ppl would buy the move!!!!!!! lol

i think that brenda should do it i love both of them and they both are pretty but vanessa is to girly she should play in a nice chick flick or something like another musical she can sing her but off but brenda she is good playing a dumb rich person and idk but i do think that brenda would be good in the sequel

i'm the first to coment. Yeah! personally, i don't like both of them (no offense) so i wouldn't want one of them to play leah in new moon. they're way to bubblegum goodie tu shoes and leah in the books has a bit of an attitude. and they looks too sweet. uck! sorry to vanessa and brenda, but i don't want to see you in new moon (even though brenda you are a fan; i'm a bigger one)!
I think Brenda Song would be absolutely perfect for her part. At first I couldn't pinpoint who I would like. Now that there has been talk Brenda is exactly the actress. Even though she plays a ditzy heiress she has had roles before that have had an edge to them that she was able to bring. Unfortuantely I think that is what vanessa lacks. She has only had one real role and that has been to play a sweet innocent high school. I like Vanessa a lot but Brenda has more experience and looks the part. She was recently in Special delivery which required her character to have an edge, like Leah has in the books. She would bring a strong build to the movie and can pull it off to be real. She will make the movie way more realistic because the hardness Leah has because of her past will shin through.

Brenda Song is my rolemodel I am her biggest fan, and coming from a fan she isn't what I pictured Leah to be. Brenda can pull off any role ever but I wanted a nobody actor to play Leah and I guess a nbody will play Leah. Brenda is amazing and I can't wait for Boogie Town.

i think Brenda should have the part since Vanessa has alot of bad history and she's to well known. Most of the actors in Twilight aren't that well known so a well known actress shouldn't play a minor part, even though she has more experience. Absolutely NOT! Neither of those girls should be considered. That role is someone of a strong character which fits neither of these girls. Maybe if they would have gotten out of disney girly movies. Sometimes when these Disney characters stay in to long they can't get rid of the character they were known for. Sorry girls - that's a no go! Miley included!

I don't think either of them should get the rolw. Vanessa Hudgens especially. If she gets the role, I think I will have to give up on "New Moon", just because of her.
