TWIST has its Eye on Shia!

From Even Stevens to Eagle Eye, Shia LaBeouf has come a long way! And he hasn't let Hollywood change him! Shia recently chatted to TWIST about his new movie Eagle Eye out September 26! He told us action movies aren't just for the guys, how he feels about being a top celebrity crush and how he reacted when he met his own celeb crush! Without even trying, he had us crushing on him by the end of the convo!

TWIST: What was the most exciting part about filming the intense action scenes? Did you get hurt at all?
Shia: I would probably have to say all the car chases! And no, I didn't get hurt in this one!

TWIST: How did Eagle Eye compare to your previous action films like Indiana Jones and Transformers?
Shia: I think there was more pressure. It was just a different kind of pressure. In Transformers and Indiana Jones, as an actor, you have crutches. Even if you fail, the movie succeeds. People are coming to see Indiana Jones for Indiana Jones. People are coming to see Transformers for the robots. Eagle Eye is a bit different. It's just a more vivid type of action. It's just more candid and more realistic.

TWIST: Celebrities like Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale and Emma Roberts have said they have crushes on you and want to work with you. What do you think about that?
Shia: They're all very beautiful girls. They're all talented. I don't know, it's all weird for me. I'm still trying to figure it out!

TWIST: What advice would you give to young stars about being in the spotlight?
Shia: Go with the flow and live your life in a good way.

TWIST: What's one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?
Shia: I think people would be really surprised to see my house and my kitchen and how small my life really is. I really do live like a normal person when I'm not doing the Hollywood thing. I've brought people to my house and they say, "Are you serious?" Like, they look at my house and they go, "Are you kidding me?" I've had that happen a lot.

TWIST: What do you think girls will like about Eagle Eye and what advice do you have on taking a girl to see an action movie on a date?
Shia: Well, from what I've experienced, girls don't necessarily like separate things than guys do. I've known many girls who want to watch an action film. I think girls enjoy the same thing guys do. I know guys that enjoy love stories, too. I think overall it's an enjoyable film. I've never, since I've been making movies, had such a positive response after making the film.

TWIST: Is there anything you can tell us about Transformers 2?
Shia: The action scenes are brutal! I don't really know how to explain it without giving things away. I can say that it will be the most visually spectacular action film. There are new characters that are a lot of fun, too!

TWIST: Have you had any star-struck moments or celeb crushes?
Shia: I remember meeting Natalie Portman in France when I went to Cannes. That was pretty powerful just 'cause I've had a crush on her since forever and it's funny. I walked up to her and I was like, "Wow, it's so strange, I think I'm in love with you, completely 100 percent." And she said, "Oh, nice to meet you" and she shook my hand and walked away. And she was very nice about it, but how do you respond to a person who's completely insane?

Eagle Eye hits theaters September 26! Be sure you catch it! Shia is also currently filming Transformers 2!
